Bye Bye Case

Case is our Flame point Siamese cat...or rather, he WAS ours. He was such a beautiful playful cat it was a lot of fun having him here. But when he treated Austin (since he's been crawling) like a scratching post, he had to go. The whole incident affected us more than Austin of course. He cried for about a second then was all smiles again. I found a family that has experience with Siamese cats (the breed has more attitude than most) and off he went. Hopefully he likes his new home. It was really sad the first day. Well, kinda sad...the kids couldn't have cared less if we kept Case, they just want another dog. Shayna was a bit sad about the possibility of Shar leaving because they sleep together. Shar, our other cat, kept walking in and out of every room looking for him. They have been together for almost a year so I guess she was missing him. But now Shar has been much more lovey, its really nice. She comes near the kids more and stays longer for you to pet her. At first we were thinking she might be happier in a home with other animals, but now it seems she likes being an only cat. So I guess she'll stay. :)
